Jessica Alba’s New Romance
Dark Angel’s Jessica Alba has recently been seen canoodling with 2 Fast 2 Furious star Paul Walker in Los Angeles.
Actors Jessica Alba and Paul Walker were recently seen cozying up to one another at a Radiohead concert at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A. on September 25. Sources on the scene say the two were "very cozy" and held hands for most of the night. Alba, 22, and Walker, 30, are co-starring in the upcoming drama Into the Night. No official word yet from either star’s camp on whether or not they are an item.
Alba and her on-again-off-again boyfriend and sometime fiancé Michael Weatherly, 32, called off their engagement in August. The two, who co-starred on Dark Angel became engaged in May 2001, but endured a number of break-ups and make-ups. Apparently, the two seem to be "off again." Alba didn’t waste anytime moving on from Weatherly. Walker is currently single, but he does have a 4-year old daughter from a previous relationship.
It seems Alba has a thing for her co-stars, which is a common practice among many on the Hollywood scene. Maybe it’s the fact that you are working so closely with someone that feelings can intensify almost overnight. It could be that the actors get so involved in their characters that they develop feelings for another "character." Maybe that is the problem with most Hollywood romances. Or, perhaps, some romances that bloom on set are simply marketing ploys to drum up interest in a new movie. Whatever the case may be, there doesn’t seem to be very much "romance" in Hollywood. Just a lot of fleeting flings that keep the public drooling for more. It is hard to take any couple made in Hollywood too seriously.
