Garner & Vartan Split?

Garner and Vartan met on the set of their hit show Alias, a meeting that ultimately broke-up her marriage to actor Scott Foley. Although the official word was that Garner and Vartan started dating after her split from Foley, there are those that have little doubt that Vartan played a part in the break-up.

Garner met ex-husband Foley on the set of his hit show Felicity in 1998 and the two were married in October 2000. She began her stint as Sydney Bristow on Alias in 2001. When the two were married, Foley was the shining star in the marriage, but things began to go downhill once Garner’s star began rising. With the cancellation of Felicity, Garner was the name of the house and sources close to the couple cite this as the beginning of the end. The two separated in April 2003.

Shortly after it was announced that her and Foley were splitting, Garner was seen all over town with her "friend" Vartan. Once they were able to go public with their relationship, they were pleased that they did not have to hide their relationship. At the time, Garner said, "Of course Michael and I are dating, it’s so exciting and new." Now it seems the two have split. Garner has been reportedly telling friends that they were "having problems" and both decided it was best to break-up. There has been no official word of a break-up, but sources say it is over. Garner’s rep has denied the allegations and Vartan’s camp has remained mum on the subject.
